Hey, I'm Arianna, your language teacher!

I’m Italian, born and raised in Sicily, and I’ve called the UK home since 2016, where I’ve always worked in hospitality. It was there that I developed skills I now use every day in teaching: empathy, patience, openness, and a love for connecting with people.

I hold a degree in English and Spanish and am currently keen on learning Portuguese. I began my teaching career as an Italian tutor in Cardiff, working with both bilingual children and adult learners. In 2024, I became certified to teach English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and Español como Lengua Extranjera (ELE). In the same year, I also participated in organising a cultural trip from Wales to Sicily, bringing an authentic Italian experience to Welsh participants.

I now teach exclusively online through Arianna Languages, my online teaching service born in 2025, offering both 1:1 lessons and group classes. My favourite perk of online teaching is the flexibility it gives me to spend more time in Italy while creating and planning  language experiences for langauge lovers. 

In December 2025, I created the Italian Conversation  Corner, a monthly face-to-face meet-up in Cardiff for all Italian lovers who don't get the chance to speak Italian around them. 

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with more than 50 students across Italian, English, and Spanish, from complete beginners to advanced learners, helping them build confidence, improve their skills, and enjoy the process of learning languages.
